沃库画廊隆重推出知名当代抽象画家法比恩·维迪尔非凡的全新“漩涡”系列创作。在她的作品中，维迪尔赋予了自然界中不可见的种种与无形力量，从重力与动能，再到声波和振动等广泛的物理现象别开生面的视觉化样貌。
在这些首次展出的大型画作中，法比恩·维迪尔持续探索着声音和音乐形成绘画的诸多可能，尤其是对女高音在演奏莫扎特咏叹调时所採用的呼吸技巧的视觉表现。法比恩·维迪尔创作的一大特点是巨大且旋绕而上的厚重螺旋线条在构图裡占据了主导地位，恰与咏叹调不断上升的音调相互呼应。此一创作灵感来自她在纽约久负盛名的茱莉亚音乐学院担任首位驻校艺术家期间的深刻心得。

Together with an interview between Verdier and writer Ellen Mara De Wachter. drawings and extracts from Verdier’s notebooks, alongside numerous vivid illustrations, this publication establishes the artist's invaluable contribution to contemporary thought and painting.
