Pablo Reinoso: Débordements at Château de Chambord

Franco-Argentinian artist Pablo Reinoso is presenting a major solo exhibition of his work at the Château de Chambord from 1 May until 4 September 2022. Débordements marks the artist's most ambitious project to date, taking place across the Château's indoor and outdoor spaces and establishing a dialogue with the estate's architectural and natural heritage.

Across the castle's second floor, the artist will present a selection of his most iconic works from the 'Frames', 'Spaghetti Benches', 'Articulations', 'Breathing Works' and 'Thoneteando' series, as well as his 1982 installation La Mer de Charbon. Next to rarely-exhibited pieces, a selection of the artist's paintings that are amongst his most recent works will also be on display. Several in-situ pieces have been created specifically for the exhibition, including a series of sculptures occupying the second-floor fireplaces.
