For Ian Davenport's fifth solo exhibition at Xippas Gallery he exhibits his latest work as well as his works on paper. From his early investigations into chance and painting surfaces, to the complex rhythms of his vertically lined colour pieces, Davenport’s unconventional methods are unified by intuitive understanding and mastery of the medium.
