La Poste issue new stamp designed by Verdier
La Poste, the French postal service, commissioned Fabienne Verdier for the newest edition of their artist-designed postage stamp series.
Verdier's design runs across two individual stamps. To decide on the final painting chosen for the postage stamp, the artist produced 12 pieces of work which were shown in Paris at LeLong in a dedicated exhibition.
