Waddington Custot launches Vortex app

Learn about the work of Fabienne Verdier through exhibition app now available on the App Store

In celebration of Fabienne Verdier’s new solo exhibition, on view at Waddington Custot, the gallery launches Vortex, a new app for iPhone and iPad.

Through imagery, video, text and sound, this digital initiative enhances the experience of visiting the show, while also offering a window into Verdier’s working process for those unable to physically see the exhibition.

Verdier’s new Vortex works are directly influenced by and painted in response to opera. When using the app during the exhibition, visitors can choose to hear the very arias that inspired each work, while standing directly in front of a particular painting.

Downloadable via the link below, this free app also includes essays on the artist and films of Verdier painting directly onto the screen.
